Services

24 Hour Care and Supervision

Our residents receive 24-hour care and supervision, with caregivers available for assistance. From daily needs, condition changes, and more — help is always there.

Personalized Care Plans

We take the time to understand each residents' abilities, preferences, routines, health needs, and personal history so that we can provide appropriate care to the individual.

As needs change, we work with the resident, family members, and health care professionals  to ensure their care continues to support their well-being.

Daily Living Assistance

Our caregivers provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) based on each residents' individual needs, including:

- Bathing and personal hygiene

- Dressing and grooming

- Incontinence care

- Mealtime

- Walking and mobility

- Transfers and repositioning when appropriate

- Other daily routines

We encourage residents to maintain as much independence as safely as possible while also providing assistance when needed.

Medication Assistance

In accordance with a resident's care plan, physician instructions, and California RCFE regulations, our trained staff has the ability to provide assistance with medications. This includes medication reminders and help with prescribed self-administered medications.

We maintain medication records and work to ensure that medications are handled carefully and consistently within the scope of residential care.

Nutrition

Residents are provided with three nutritious meals each day (along with snacks) with consideration given to individual preferences and physician-prescribed diet.

We will also note and communicate any changes in appetite or eating habits.

Housekeeping, Laundry, and Linen Service

We provide routine housekeeping as well as personal laundry and linen service, so residents can enjoy their new home without worrying about everyday household responsibilities.

Socialization, Activities, and Companionship

We encourage residents to participate in activities, conversation, celebration, music, games, light exercise, outdoor enjoyment, and other opportunities for engagement. Entirely based on their interests and abilities.

Transportation and Appointment Coordination

We assist with coordinating transportation and appointments based on the resident's individual needs and our available services.

We also work to maintain communication with families and the appropriate care providers when important information or changes arise.

Dementia and Memory Care Support

For residents experiencing Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive changes (whose needs can be safely met within our licensed setting) we provide structured routine, supervision, reassurance, redirection, and assistance with anything else within our capabilities.

Mobility and Non-Ambulatory Care

For residents whose needs fall within our approved level of care, we can provide assistance with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and other daily activities

Hospice and End-of-Life Support

MJ Senior Homecare supports residents receiving hospice services in coordination with appropriately licensed hospice providers.

During this deeply vulnerable stage of life, we work alongside the resident's hospice team and family to maintain a peaceful, comfortable, and supportive home environment.

We understand that many families may be experiencing fear, exhaustion, grief, and uncertainty during this time — and we will be with you every step of the way if you allow us.

Communication with Families

When we observe meaningful changes in a resident's condition, behavior, appetite, sleep, mobility, or overall well-being, we believe that families should be appropriately informed and involved.
